چگونه ميتوانيم بر عزت نفس خود بيافزائيم؟
ديگران در ايجاد عزت نفس در ما چه نقشي دارند؟
نويسنده كتاب معتقد است كه نياز جامعه انساني به شناخت عزت نفس و رشد و ارتقا عزت نفس خود در اين زمان از هر زمان بيشتر شده است تغيير تحولات اجتماعي و اقتصادي و فرهنگي اين دوره به شكلي است كه براي براورده شدن نيازها و كنار امدن با دنياي پيچيده رو به تحول كنوني احتياج به اتكاي دروني محكم و عزت نفس قوي داريم .كتاب به سه بخش تقسيم مي شود در بخش اوليه به توضيح و تبين عزت نفس پرداخته مي شود.
عزت نفس چيست؟ خود انگاري تصوري كه انسان از خود دارد . باور به توانمنديهاي خود , خود باوري و اعتماد به نفس و انديشه وباور به توانائيهاي خود در برخورد با مشكلات
براي اينكه بتوانيم بدرستي با شرايط متغير محيطي سازگار شويم و اتخابگر فعال باشيم بايد بدانيم كه كيستيم . بايد بدانيم كه براي ما مهم چيست بايد بياموزيم كه به خود فكر كنيم و مسوليت انتخابهايمان را برعهده بگيريم بايد با توجه به حقيقتها به خود اعتماد كنيم . بايد به خود متكي باشيم
در بخش دوم به عوامل دروني عزت نفس اشاره مي شود.عوامل دروني عواملي هستند كه از درون نشات ميگيرند يا خود شخص ان را ايجاد مي كند ,
نقطه نظرهاي بيروني , همان عامل محيطي هستند , پيامهايي كه كلامي و يا غيركلامي انتقال پيدا مي كنند و تجربه هايي كه باني ان پدر مادر و اموزگاران و اشخاص مهم در زندگي , سازمندهندگان و فرهنگ هستند. و
نويسنده پايه و بنيان هاي اصلي عزت نفس را به شش پايه اصلي تقسيم مي كند
زندگي اگاهانه
خودپذيري
مسئوليت در قبال خود
قاطيعت ابراز وجود
زندگي هدفمند
انسجام و يكپارچگي
عزت نفس يكدفعه و بطور ناگهاني بوجود نمي ايد و انسان در به دست اوردن و رشد عزت نفس مسئول ميباشد البته
خانواذه , پدر و مادر و اولياي تربيتي در رشد عزت نفس فرزند سهم بسزائي دارند
همچنين محيط مدرسه و جامعه و محيط كار در رشد عزت نفس نقش دارند
بخش سوم كتاب به بحث در مورد عوامل بيروني پرداخته ميشود
تمرينهاي عملي در بخشهاي مختلف كتاب نيز اورده شده . من خواندن اين كتاب را به همه دوستان پيشنهاد مي كنم
